Welcome to "My Thrifted Closet." I am SheRea DelSol, but you can call me SheDel. I am a self-proclaimed thriftshionista (Thrift Fashionista.) I hail from the beautiful St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, but I currently live in Winston-Salem, NC where my love of thrifting began. My style has drastically changed since my high school days and most of the clothes in my closet have been replaced by thrifting in mostly Goodwill or MegaThrift (a thrift store indigenous to Winston Salem, North Carolina.) Thrifting has helped to develop my love of vintage clothes (especially the 80's) with their large shoulder pads and puffy sleeves. I also FULLY embrace bright colors and bold prints. For those of you who don't know, thrifting is the act of purchasing items from  stores that sell items that have been donated, with the proceeds from sales usually benefiting charitable efforts (eHow). Thrifting is more than just a hobby, quite frankly it is not. Thrifting is a lifestyle choice, a fashion movement. In that spirit, I have dedicated this blog and my fashion journey to thrifting. Luxirare is a weekly webzine dedicated to clothing and cuisine. At Luxirare, the typical notion of a seasonal fashion show or seasonal "menu" does not exist. Styles and recipes are presented as individual pieces that do not follow a strict theme but rather a flow of ideas. The Luxirare principle is to use the unique mobility of the internet to develop an enticing, unorthodox presentation. A fluidity of information is easily produced because content can be accessed from anywhere at any time. The grassroots feedback system allows and encourages anyone to provide instantaneous feedback. The power of the internet to swallow so much into obsolescence is usually considered detrimental. Hi, I'm Joanna and welcome to my blog.  I hope you enjoy reading the posts contained therein as much as I enjoyed writing them.  This blog is geared towards anyone interested in writing, the process of writing, occasional musings on fashion, style and life, in general.  Especially that last bit: "life," and all the wonderful, crazy and terrifying things it has to offer.  Being a flâneur is not as "idle" or "lounge-y" as it seems!  In fact, there is no direct translation of flâneur into English.  I like to think that a flâneur is one who is actively engaged in life, even if one is sitting and watching the world go by; an active observer, if you will.  I am a writer and editor by trade and we do have a tendency to notice everything; either we want to write about it because it's intriguing, or we want to correct it :)

Well, I've gone and done it. I've started a blog. I think I just have too much to say than can be contained in my laughable ten minute limit on youtube. And youtube is probably where you met me. I am the creator of Lisa Freemont Street and no, my name isn't Lisa Freemont. It's Ashley. The channel name is actually a blend of two of my biggest inspirations: Grace Kelly and Vintage Las Vegas. For those of you who are fellow Hitchcock fans, you probably remember Grace's character in Rear Window-Lisa Fremont. Her grace and poise were beautifully portrayed in that film (along w/ the phenomenal Edith Head fashions she wore) but she also had a spunky, adventurous side that I loved. On the other hand, I also have a pension for glitz and kitch, so I had to throw a little 'Fremont Street' into the mix. Yes, I'm aware of the difference in spelling...but when you type in 'Freemont Street' on google, just WHO comes up? See? There's a method to my madness!

Hey! I'm Mandy and this is my blog (spoiler alert!). I'm wife to Scot (no typo, just the one T) and mama to Harper, the most charming toddler I've ever met.I started the Haps to document her life back when she was just a few months old in hopes that one day I'd have something to show her since the 3 baby books I own are sitting lonely with a few pages filled out (I'm either the laziest person alive or a hoarder - jury is still out on that one). Welcome to Here&Now, my repository of daily record for the routine and remarkable. When I entered graduate school in August of 2009, I didn't know that I was entering a special sort of time continuum. Somedays I long to be a "college student" once again, while others, I look forward to the day when I am officially a "grown-up". However, for the time being, I am neither, and I have recently decided I am ok with that.

This blog has become a cluster eff of all things I love: style, fashion, beauty, inspiring music, and frankly...anything else that sparks my interest and I want to share! I am passionate about animal rights and a vegetarian.  Over the past few years I've really gotten into Vintage everything and I love a good thrift store hunt and find.  I make up words a lot and add cutesy things to the end of normal words that I want to make prettier...also I am easily excitable, unendingly (too) honest and have a ridiculously short attention span. I'm a married 20 something and I live in the fine state of Minnesota, in the twin cities to be exact...Randall and I have two awesome kitties, Mr. Wallace and Stevie Beans, a parrotlet named Stella Blue,  and a rescued pomapoo Piper. By day I'm a fiscal policy analyst but on lunch breaks and at night I blog and sometimes I attempt to craft.  I love Dinosaurs, going to museums, and I am a photography addict.
