Clothes Karma - 0 views

"My name is Daena. Pleased to meet you. I'm a quirky gal, a busy professional and a fashion plate living in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm especially fond of thrifting and bargain shopping for quality pieces, as well as remixing what I already own. I consider getting dressed to be an art form. An abundantly full, but seriously organized closet is my canvas. Clothes karma, while heavy on fripperies and fashion, is a reflection of my colorful lifestyle in general: interior design, personal fitness, crafting, urban living, travel and lots of inspirational eye candy. J's Everyday Fashion - 0 views

  •
About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.). This website is all about empowering women - to give them fashion without the frills, that hopefully you can use and apply to your life in a very practical way. And maybe someday… I'll bring you that magazine, too.  :-)

little chief honeybee. - 0 views

I'm Kaelah and this is my little corner of the internets. I am a lover of bulldogs, bubble baths, road trips, dresses with pockets, and adventure. I'm a 24 year old recent college grad with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and I'm living my small business dream. I just opened up a mobile retail shoppe called Honeybean and my heart has never been so full! I bartend on the weekends and design away during the week. I live in a quaint cream colored cottage in East Nashville with my handsome photographer fiance, Mike, and our two fat bulldogs (and a fuzzy cat), and as of February 2012, my sweet little toddler step son. When I'm not perusing the interweb for all things magical you can probably find me at the puppy park or tattoo shop. After two whirlwind summers spent in the art department at BUST magazine in NYC, I am calling Nashville home (until we find our dream home/town to settle down in!).

FROM THE REZ TO THE CITY - 0 views

  •
I have always been in love with fashion but I was born on a Native American reservation where it was not available. Growing up I looked through my mom's fashion magazines for inspiration, then I created outfits with what I had in my closet. When I left the "Rez" and moved to the "City" I went crazy for fashion! If I had to categorize my style, I would call it classically chic with a touch of glam/drama. In an effort to inspire my fellow full-figured women, I decided to share my style through this blog. My goal is to prove that no matter your dress size...you can "ROCK" fashion and look great! I believe the key to great style is finding inspiration, being creative and displaying confidence. I hope you are inspired! Kiah

Yellow Saree for a Dazzling Look! - 0 views

  •
As the psychological character of the colour suggests bright and intellectual people should choose to wear it, yet it's not uncommon for jovial and agile people to wear this colour along with green, violet or any other bright shade that can bring out the rich quality of yellow. The blanket advice on this is that relatively fair- complexioned ladies should wear yellow with a view to realize the full potential of this dramatic colour.

Use a Branded Conditioner after Every Washing - 0 views

  •
All of us love it when our hair is super fabulous and manageable after every wash and looks glamorous. But it is a complete menace when the hair is beyond our control. This situation can be altered by using a good conditioner from a reputed brand to manage these haywire hairs and tame them so that we can style them just as we like it. Talking about branded conditioners, have you tried using KeraCare leave in conditioner? It is possibly one of the best leave in conditioners which is available in the market today which will help you to retain the natural texture of your hair and further enhance it to provide you with a head full of glamorous hair which will not only enhance your beauty but also leave the on looker awestruck. Mayces Internationals is one of the largest distributors of various kinds of hair care products which in turn ensure that you will find the perfect KeraCare leave in conditioner which is best suited your hair at their store. You can also try visiting their official website at heavenlytouchcorp.com .

Kilts |Kilts For Men - 1 views

  •
Perhaps nothing is more closely associated with Scotland than the kilt. Now part of the national costume, you will find kilts being worn at everything from weddings to international sports matches. Either worn casually or as part of a full outfit, this recognizable garment is the best way to show off your Scottish heritage. It has been my observation that there are various reasons why someone may decide to wear the kilt, and those reasons will affect our habits and attitudes towards Highland dress. I normally try to avoid sweeping generalizations, but there are some major categories that I believe most kilt wearers fall into. People tend to wear the kilt as a uniform, as heritage dress, as a costume, or as clothing. Most kilt wearers I have met fall into at least one category, and some will identify with more than one. The first category is that of uniform. These people wear the kilt because it is part of the uniform of a group or activity in which they are involved. The most obvious example would be the military uniform of a Highland regiment. Another would be a pipe band. But the kilt could also be a uniform in a less structured sense. If one is involved in Scottish Country Dancing, the kilt is part of the outfit that men are expected to wear. The reason that people in this category wear the kilt is because it is part and parcel of the activity they participate in, be it dancing, piping, or some other endeavor. If you wear the kilt as a uniform you are more than likely going to have a more rigid attitude towards Highland dress. This may actually be imposed upon you by certain dress requirements for competition and performance. This tends to limit the extent of your Highland wardrobe. If the kilt is part of a uniform that you put on while participating in a certain activity, you only need to be flexible within the confines of your uniform requirements. The second category I have named is that of "heritage clothing." By this I mean those who wear the kilt
