Innovation has always been a favorite subject with the modern day designers. One such name amongst the fashion circuit is that of Issei Fujita, the Japanese designer, who did the unthinkable with his catchy designs and funky ideas. His collections, labeled under Lumen et umbra, have become a craze amongst men of all age. He particularly appeals to the young men and boys since his shirts and T-shirts are made with a special innovative touch. For instance, his T-shirts have unique cuts at the most unexpected places. Even his pants come with freshness. They do not necessarily follow the line of the leg and have inevitably spawned a new trend.

Let us take a look at the way he designs jackets. Instead of stitching those clichéd-looking ones, he used his creativity to add a new breath of life to them. His ingenious idea to plant just two buttons helped him design jackets which certainly carried that extra edge. Thus, he introduced the concept of 'male cleavage'. The jackets hung down to show the upper chest and helped beefy-breasted men get the eye of the fairer sex.

Fujita is also credited with the widespread introduction of slim-fit shirts. With frayed edges and stitched down backs, these shirts became a major hit with young boys. He also teased the female eye by giving an airbrush treatment to jackets and T-shirts for the men. Even in his round-neck tops, he would insert a layer of femininity with an in-paper threading. The style certainly went down well with the funky gen-Y guys. His strobe pants deserve a special mention. They made men feel and look different.

Collections from Lumen et umbra are available in the online stores and cater to the general need of the masses. Prices are right and the variety is amazing.
