I'm unsure of these things, but anthologies out together on a shoe string do seem to be becoming more popular...

A science fiction and fantasy site not quite like any you've seen before, mixing news, commentary, original stories and art, your own comments and conversations, and more. A place on the net you may find yourself wanting to visit-and participate in-every day.

I'm not a huge fan of the "fuzzier", writing-as-spiritual-quest sites, so you won't find much of that here. Instead, I look for sites that offer real information writers can use about the craft of writing - or about the business of writing, which can be a sticky point for a lot of writers who fear sullying their creative mind with the dirty work of day-to-day business matters.

A good ending to a great series. This issue contains the coolest moments and one of the best endings I've read in a long time. It kind of fast forwards a little bit and there's a few unexpected twists, but it all works up in a way that makes sense and doesn't let you down. You can tell in both the writing and artistry that a lot of thought and work went into this final issue.

Local celebrity writer, Walt Whitlock, is poisoned at a barbecue at the Townsend home in Winburg. Lieutenant James investigates and finds the tainted bourbon not only in Whitlock's #5 cup but in one of the several cups marked #7. Although he uncovers the reason for so many #7 cups, he still must find the murderer. Elderly neighbor, Lucy Trent, brought the pint bottle of Starsilk Preferred Bourbon to the picnic and Oliver Townsend, Walt's publisher, had an argument with him just before he died, but both claimed innocence.

We, a young, dynamic and public-spirited team of activists at Happiness Ville, are constantly brainstorming ideas and ways to bring about the change we always talk about and hardly put into action.
