This site includes many ways to use wikis in the classroom such as for student participation, group projects, and for the classroom.

The pbs site has a lot of good tips for teachers for a classroom in the k-12 setting. It has a lot of good ideas for activities in the classroom for every subject. As a foreign lanuage teacher, I found some good things under the reading and language arts tabs.

Great resource for teachers to get ideas for lessons you can chat with other teachers. Professional development

A site for groups to work on projects together. It has IM capability, email notifications, online calendar,checklist, etc. Teachers can manage classrooms and students can manage projects. It looks like a great place for students and teachers to keep track of and work together on projects. (better if all students have a computer at home) Registration is free and easy.

A good site to show students. If they are at home (and have a computer) and don't understand some homework assignments, they can go to this site to get examples and definitions. In high school they can use it for Algebra, Calc I, and Calc II

Website that has free teaching aids that people can view. The aids include videos, lesson plans, and etc.

This website offers references and support for brand new teachers. It has postings from other teachers who explain what they should have done differently and so on. It offers a lot of support for new teachers who are struggling.

Have items that assist with teaching special needs children.
