Planning to rent a motorcycle in Alicante to explore some coastal roads and possibly ride down to Torrevieja or up to Altea. I've got a valid motorcycle license and prefer manual bikes over scooters. How's the road quality on the Costa Blanca? Are there any good rental places near the airport or downtown? Also, do they let you cross provinces or are you limited to the local area?

I spent a few days in Alicante and decided to go for a proper motorcycle rental to make the most of the coast. I booked through BikesBooking because it gave me the best overview of available bikes, and the site shows exactly where you can pick them up-there are several in central Alicante and even one near the airport. For Motorcycle rental in Alicante https://bikesbooking.com/en/rent-a-motorcycle-in-Alicante/ they accepted my international license without hassle. I rented a Honda CB500, and it was great for both city cruising and longer rides to Calpe and back. It cost me around €55 a day, including third-party insurance and helmet. The roads along the Costa Blanca are in excellent condition, with clear signage and scenic stops everywhere. Just be cautious of strong coastal winds, especially on open stretches. The rental company allowed unlimited mileage, and crossing into Murcia was not a problem, but I asked in advance just to be safe. Helmets were included, jackets were extra. Parking in most beach towns was straightforward, but I avoided central Benidorm during weekends-it was packed. Booking in advance helped me get a good rate, and BikesBooking had all the info on gear, fuel, and pickup hours clearly listed.
