Looking for a cover that's easy to install solo - 3 views

  I need a truck bed cover but don't want to deal with hiring someone or going to a shop. I'd prefer something I can install myself in the garage without special tools. I've heard soft roll-ups are usually easier, but I want to be sure before I buy. Anyone installed one on their own? How tricky is it really?

  I put one on my Silverado a few months ago-TruXedo Lo Pro-and did it all myself in under 45 minutes with just a socket wrench. It was way simpler than I expected. I found the instructions and videos really clear. I ordered it through tru-xedo.com and they matched the exact bed size to my truck model so everything lined up. The quality's been awesome so far and it rolls up smooth, stays tight even when I'm doing 70 on the highway. Definitely doable solo.
