विश्व बैंक ने अपनी एक रिपोर्ट में भारत की ग्रामीण सड़क योजना की तारीफ की है।बैंक ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि इसकी वजह से आना-जाना और आर्थिक अवसरों तक पहुंच बढ़ी है।साथ ही अच्छी सड़क व्यवस्था स्कूलों में बच्चों की हाजिरी बढ़ाने में भी बेहद सहायक रही है।रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि अच्छी सड़कों की वजह से ग्रामीण परिवारों के लिए रोजगार के बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध हुए हैं।
