One of the worst hit of winter has affected every Delhiite and the worst blow of dense fog has begun to cause disruption in air, and rail routes in Delhi. And the dense fog has been covering Delhi like a blanket since Sunday while the visibility started falling down from 500 metres to less than 100 metres reaching to around 75 metres.

The havoc of fog had forced passengers to remain boarded on an aircraft at IGI airport. But it is obligatory for all airline authorities to disembark passengers from the flight if an extraordinary delay is causing.

Amid foggy condition in Delhi, the flight schedule is badly affected at the Indira Gandhi International airport today. Most of the flights are seen still on Monday due to low visibility that was caused due to dense fog. More than 50 domestic as well as international flights have been disrupted.

The biting winter sweeping across North India has reportedly claimed the lives of 28 in Uttar Pradesh. Several regions of Himachal Pradesh shivered in sub-zero temperatures as dense fog consumed many northern states. On Saturday morning, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 2.4°C.
