Unknown violators of law dared to shoot State law and tourism Maheshwar Mohanty (60) on Friday near his residence located in Puri. Foiled in their attempt, miscreants ran away after firing at the minister leaving him in the pool of blood. Fortunate minister survived having brushed with death.

A Chinese citizen did a daring thing when he attempted to give a goodbye kiss to a biting turtle. But unfortunately the turtle did not like his kiss and bit him on his upper lip. The victim finally shifted to a nearby hospital.
