At a well inside the complex of a gurudwara near Amritsar, outcome of volunteers are trying to dig out what they believe are the remains of nearly 300 servicemen who died in the popular 1857 revolt against the British.
16 people, including two children, were killed in a bombing in Pakistan's Quetta region on Friday, local media reports said. The bomb exploded at a fruit and vegetable market near Quetta's Hazarganji. At least 30 people are said to have been injured. Security officials cordoned off the area.
