The Indian government, famous for ignoring the public, decided to change it and gift the country its first engineless train. Train 18, which is laced with state-of-art facilities, is pegged to replace Rajdhanis and Shatabdis in the future. But what's shameful is that the train was vandalized.

In a hate crime, a Hindu temple has been vandalized in the US state of Kentucky by miscreants who sprayed black paint on the deity and left a knife stabbed into a chair in the main hall. The incident happened between Sunday night and Tuesday morning at the Swaminarayan Temple in Louisville city.

The Indian Railways keeps enhancing on-board facilities for its passengers to make the journey more enjoyable and convenient. However, the increasing cases of theft and vandalism, on part of some unruly passengers, stalls this progress. So, the Railways is introducing new rules to deal with it.

Indian Railways isn't letting the vandals, who destroyed its property while protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), go unpunished and plans to make them pay, quite literally. On Monday, Railways Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav said those who indulged in violence will pay for losses.
