    केंद्र सरकार ने सोमवार को उच्च जातियों के गरीबों को 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षणसंबंधी कानून को लागू करने की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी।इसका मतलब है कि आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े सवर्णों को आरक्षण देने वाला यह नियम अब प्रभाव में आ चुका है। आर्थिक पिछड़ों को आरक्षण पर सरकार ने 7 जनवरी को मंजूरी दी थी। इसके बाद लोकसभा और राज्यसभा में संविधान संशोधन बिल पास होने के बाद 12 जनवरी को राष्ट्रपति ने इस पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे।
