In compliance with an order of Uttarakhand High Court, the Centre has asked Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block 827 porn websites, PTI reports. The HC had asked for 857 sites to be blocked but MeitY, Ministry of Electronics and IT, found 30 of these websites didn't have pornographic content.

The Election Commission said live coverage would be allowed on NaMo TV but pre-recorded content cannot be streamed 48 hours before the polling date, in the election silence period. EC informed the State Chief Election Commissioners (CEC) about the decision and directed them to observe it strictly.

जम्मू-कश्मीर का विशेष दर्जा समाप्त किए जाने के बाद से भारत के खिलाफ नफरत फैलाने वाले सैंकड़ों पाकिस्तानी ट्विटर अकाउंट को सस्पेंड किया गया है।पाकिस्तान ने इस बात को स्वीकार किया है कि कश्मीर मुद्दे पर लिखने के कारण उसके 333 ट्विटर अकाउंट सस्पेंड हुए हैं।भारत ने इन अकाउंट के उकसावे और झूठ से भरे कंटेट को लेकर ट्विटर से इनकी शिकायत की थी। इस पर कार्रवाई करते हुए ट्विटर ने ये अकाउंट सस्पेंड किए हैं।
