This is a good reading comprehension activity regarding the life of Martin Luther King Jr. ( I wanted to stay with the Dr. King theme!) I really like this ESL library because it has a lot of relevant material for ESL students of all levels.

This Web site, first created by The Seattle Times in 1996, contains the story of a remarkable man, Martin Luther King Jr., images of a tumultuous time, and perspectives of politicians, academics, students and the many, ordinary citizens whose lives he touched. 

The Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collection of The Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center, Inc., represents much of King's life and work spanning from 1944 to 1968. Encompassing approximately 10,000 items, the collection allows insight into Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s thoughts, personality, ministerial preparation, organizational skills and strategic planning during the Civil Rights period.

The site gives a wonderful collection of songs which can be used at the English classes. Music usually helps to feel the problem, it touches our soul, it adds emotional perseption of the world.
