Music video is done check it out - 0 views

Yep, I want to say thanks to Dave Hughes and Matty Hubbard for making this happen. These guys will get a full-time job from me once I get a full-time job. Dave is an outstanding sound guy and Matty edits quite well. They really cleaned up what I had started. I never claimed to be an editor. I can edit. I gave it a good start but Matty fine-tuned it nicely. Check it out and let me know what you think

Project big bear - 0 views

I am back. Once again I have returned from a semi-productive and refreshing trip out-of-town, just a couple short hours away, up a mountain. Thing about me is I get so amped-up on having such an activity filled three days that the first day or two is pretty friggin' tiring. Biking up a mountain is enough to call it a day but then to follow it up with a canoe trip or a hike to "Castle Rock", that's just crazy.

All scenarios worked out go tigers - 0 views

  •
I have spent the morning working out all A.L. MLB playoff scenarios for the next week. I am a Detroit Tigers fan. I am definitely going to Detroit for games 1,2 or 3,4 depending on home field advantage.

Hurry up and wait - 0 views

Waiting for someone to finish a script. Waiting for someone to finish writing something. I am tired of waiting. I want to make a movie. Not another short film. Not a music video. I want to make another feature. It has been three years since Alphonso Bow. Three years! That's a long f#$%ing time.

The devils border - 0 views

That's the name of our Thriller/Horror project. Part of what I came up to Big Bear to work on. I developed the story around Christmas of last year. I had an opportunity for a web-series project and I ran with an idea I had. That same opportunity isn't around anymore but many more doors for this thing have opened since.

MLB flourishes red sox collapse and verlander vs sabathia - 0 views

  •
I just read that there were 73.4 million post-season ticket sold for MLB playoffs. Must be because the Red Sox collapsed. Maybe because Detroit is in? I am biased of course, but it is the fifth most in the sport's history.

Hanging at the Hacienda Grill in Big Bear with Jay the bartender. He gives us our own TV. Classy. This should be a good one.

I had an opportunity for a web-series project and I ran with an idea I had. That same opportunity isn't around anymore but many more doors for this thing have opened since. I immediately went to my pals in Texas whom I had done a couple of Thriller/Horror type movies with. Fu Man Kru is their name. Jeff Grettler was the guy who helped me really develop the story. We were running with it for about three or four months and then we both got busy and it got pushed aside. I was running around with Closing Doors and producing Underbelly and he had some cop-killer script he was finishing.

Playoffs? It's official. Very strategically I have planned my trip back to Detroit for the ALDS. That stands for the American League Division Series of baseball baby!

Summer has officially come to an end. Oh so sad…luckily I live in Southern California and the best is yet to come. The tourists all go home and we have some of the nicest weather the Fall has to offer.

Seclusion proves beneficial - 0 views

  •
I took left Venice on Saturday to get away from distractions. I am not talking about seclusion from EVERYTHING. Not total isolation. Well, sort of I was lucky enough to have a good pal who had just purchased a cabin up in Big Bear, CA. He was kind enough to let me use it for a few days to get some "real" work done. He didn't have Internet. It's amazing what that will do for you. No Facebook, no fantasy sports, no basic daily distractions. I had my phone, of course, with Internet, but with a single bar of service you give up in a few minutes. I was left with text messages and minimal phone calls. That's seclusion for me.

Off to Michigan. The last of my vacation or hiatus or whatever you wanna call it. I am sitting here at the airport trying not to worry about work or what I have to do or who I am going to miss. It's hard for me. To relax. To let go.

Chicks dig Fantasy Sports | Nut Bucket Films - 0 views

  •
My brother had a fantasy football draft last night and asked me to help him out. He surely is not as experienced as I am. This might be his second year while I have been fantasizing for six or more. I tend to stick with football and baseball but have also done hoops. I quit hoops last year because the NBA is pretty weak and the Pistons have been garbage so my interest has been lacking. It is really hard to watch the NBA when the team you follow is crap. NBA ranks low on my sports list behind baseball, football, college football and basketball, and hockey.

Go up the road just after Neptune's, about 3 miles up stay right when U get to a Y-like intersection, go another 2 - 3 miles, on right U'll c a wood lacquered sign looks like a ranch but it's the only one that has a small wood cabin just there inside, prob a electric official park ranger vehicle & few civilian cars parked in a row in front of cabin - that's it. Park in that upper lot only, maps avail inside, walk down dirt road, stay left at camp bldg, walk past campgrounds then into trail. I always stay right at first juncture w/ first lurked waterfall then keep right at next cupl options and U'll go thru field, then woods, then end up down by creek then more woods then big boulders & waterfalls!

I keep telling everybody that I have been working on this music video. Well I have. For a month. The shoot itself only lasted about two days but planning and organizing a teenager and his crew can get a bit tedious, I guess. I wouldn't know. ;-) Kosta, my producer, had to deal with that shit.

I am assuming it will be in America but if anyone knows of one in another country that can hold its own then please let me know. Here is the way this is gonna to work. I should have taken photos of the first four that I ate, but I didn't decide to do this until yesterday and it's too late. You will just have to trust me.
