Hagman has been diagnosed with cancer. He declined to specify what kind of cancer he's contracted, but said it's a very common and treatable form.

TNT is creating a reboot of the 1980's series expected to premiere in the summer of 2012, and cancer won't prevent Hagman from being a part of it. "I will be receiving treatment while working on Dallas-series">the new Dallas series," he said.
