Would you believe this that Jumping over the new born babies is a festival in Spain and it is a most popular and famous festival of Spain.In celebration of the Catholic festival of Corpus Christi, grown men leap over newborns, with full parental consent. The famously bizarre event sees grown men dressed as the Devil leaping over a row of babies lying in street.

In this post I want to delve into the various expressions of different major festivals in the country with a highlight to my hometown's very own festival, the Tanda Festival celebrated every 15th of May during our town's fiesta celebration.
