Launched for the first time in 2007, the Roots Blues N BBQ Festival is a fun, authentic and unique celebration of music, gastronomy, and culture. Each year, the festival brings together artists representing the genres: roots, blues, gospel, country, folk, bluegrass, rock, and soul. For three days in the fall, Stephens Lake Park, in Columbia, Missouri, becomes the site of one of the country's most important festivals. From the launch event on Thursday, September 27 to the gospel Sunday celebration and beyond, live music, delicious barbecue and fun for all ages are on the agenda of the day. For the 12th edition of the Roots N Blues N barbecue festival, the organizers have again selected some of the best international, national, regional and local artists. Of course, we are not aware of your selection process, but the announcement is always a good time. This year it was held in Kia Columbia, with lots of BBQ, beer and slices of the award-winning Peggy Jean cake for everyone. Why make a big problem?
