  Benitez, who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005, has enjoyed an excellent start with his new club.
  
  Napoli, last season's Serie A runners-up, moved to strengthen the squad significantly following the £53million sale of Edinson Cavani to Paris Saint-Germain as Benitez brought in the likes of Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain, Jose Callejon from Real Madrid and former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
  
  Napoli beat Dortmund 2-1 at home on Matchday One and have opened their domestic campaign with five wins and a draw from six Serie A games, leaving them second in the table.
  
  Arsenal and Napoli have never faced each other competitively before, although they did meet as recently as two months ago in the Emirates Cup.
  
  Lorenzo Insigne and Goran Pandev put the visitors two goals to the good at half-time, only for Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny to restore parity in the final 20 minutes.
  
  Italy international right-back Christian Maggio is Napoli's only absentee, having recently undergone knee surgery.
  
  Star men Gonzalo Higuain and Marek Hamsik were both on the bench for Saturday's 2-0 win at Genoa in Serie A, in which Goran Pandev scored both goals in the opening 25 miniutes.
  
  Higuain came on after an hour but Hamsik was unused. Both are expected to return to Benitez's starting line-up in north London.
