This is a great site for geography resources. This site provides teacher's with some great resources for a variety of different subject matters. For example, physical geography, human geography, and environmental science units. It includes a graphic organizer collection that can be used to help students with problem solving, decision making, studying, planning research and brainstorming. This collection includes venn diagrams, KWL chars, cause and effect diagrams, 5W's chart and much more. This site also provides teacher's with activities and projects that can be used in combination with the Ontario curriculum. The activities include directions, objective, what needs to be done to prepare and how to extend the lesson. There are also geography related interactive games and mapping activities. The resources on this page are not limited to geography but can be used for other subjects as well. This site provides a great place to brainstorm ideas for lesson plans. Small changes can be made to these activities to incorporate more critical thinking. Depending on your students these lessons can be also modified to match their interests. Teachers have the option of filtering their results by grade level or grade, allowing for easy navigation through the site. All the resources on this site are free!
