    This is a website that can be used by teachers to get ideas on ways to make geography a little more interesting for students. It provides many different ideas such as how to include the news into lessons, along with different puzzles and games that can help assist student learning in a more fun and engaging way. It provides ideas for movies that students can watch, and also suggests that students get a pen pal in another country to try and open themselves up to the world outside of their own community. The site also recommends some children's books that teachers can read to their students during geography lessons. All these different ways of educating children in geography will likely increase their willingness to learn more about the subject because geography will appear to them as something fun and interesting. Some of the ideas on this site specifically pertain to geography in the USA, but there are also some that are more general to the world. I would recommend this site to any teacher who is looking for a few original ideas to spark some interest in geography for their students.
