If you sign up for this service, you get daily special offers for your area. When people buy the offers (usually half off), they decide what charity a portion of proceeds go to. Plan a Sunday School outing to one of the places, and you build community while raising money for your Sunday School or another cause of your choice. Offers I've used include half off bowling, half off Art places for kids..

In God We Teach - 0 views

"In God We Teach" is a great 1-hour documentary about the separation of church and state in the classroom. Matt LaClair (who grew up through Ethical Culture) stood up to his teacher proselytizing in class and started a great debate in his hometown, which spread. The film represents both sides well so I believe it is a great piece for the older kids to learn about bullying, taking a stand on what you believe, and dealing with various critics. Global Exchange Chocolate Curriculum - 0 views

Chocolate lover? Ditto here at Global Exchange. That's why cocoa is the current focus of our Fair Trade Campaign. It's a tasty way to get Fair Trade-savvy. Plus, chocolate companies have a nasty tendency to use cocoa grown using child and forced labor. Let's end that, with Fair Trade.

Ethics in Education - 2 views

For Coming of Age and even youth groups, this resource is quite extensive! There are workbooks that you can download -- they seem to me to be great resources for educators in ethics, and could be well used by the older children in EC programs. They outline any "ethical issue" and ethics as expressed from various cultural and intellectual voices throughout human history. Shared by Audrey Kindred
