Kitchen recipes - Lemon juice has a bleaching agent that will lighten sunspots. Dab a cotton ball of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the brown spots in the morning and evening. Note - lemon juice is photo-sensitive so protect your skin with sunscreen.

As we age most everyone will have brown age spots somewhere. I know I do. I've had freckles all my life, so to me these are just bigger freckles, but if you're not use to them you may be quite annoyed at them messing up your beautiful skin. Or even embarrassed that your age is showing.

However, members of the American Chemistry Council have administered oral dosages of mequinol to lab rats and rabbits. The animals did not die after exposure. Such experiments make mequinol seem non-threatening. However, the FDA does not recommend combination mequinol and tretinoin for pregnant women. Plus, women who are able to become pregnant should take effective birth control measures when using this pigment correcting treatment.
