This is the Wikipedia site concerning Internet censorship in China. While Wikipedia is not the most reliable source, I posted this because of all the great links available at the bottom of the site.

The government in many of the countries discussed is censoring social media to keep citizens from sharing/hearing information that may go against the current powers at large.
