    Kurt Russell is and American actor best remembered for his\nmovies such as Escape from New York, Backdraft, Tombstone,Tango and Cash and\nSilkwood. He is also known as the husband of Goldie Hawn, an actress, director,\nproducer and occasional singer.  But how\nwell do you know Kurt Russell?  Let us\nrefresh our memory via a cool trivia about this American actor and get to know\nmore about him.


    Kurt Russell used to\nplay minor league baseball. When Kurt Russell was done with his 10 year\ncontract at Disney as a child actor, he went on to follow his other love-playing\nbaseball.  In case you don't know, Kurt's\nfather also played minor league baseball for Carrollton Hornets from\n1948-1949.  Remember that his father also\nappeared in the movies such as in Bonanza and Magnificent even. For the love of\nbaseball, Kurt's father also owned and managed a minor league baseball team\nPortland Mavericks. Going back to Kurt, he was already 20 years old when picked\nup his bat to play professionally. But it does not mean he did not play\nbaseball before he played in the minor league baseball because he find time to\nplay baseball especially during summer.  He was showing a talent for baseball in the\nminor that he attracted scouts from the pro ranks. Teams like Angels,\nCardinals, Twins and Giants were intrigued with the batting abilities of Kurt\nbut the only thing that holds them back was that they doubted if he can give\nhis 100% in baseball and not be torn between his love for baseball and acting. Kurt\nRussell played for the California Angels with respectable hitting average.\nUnfortunately, he suffered a torn rotator cuff muscle in one of his shoulders.\nHe consulted a doctor and he was told he should focus 100% now on his acting.


    Kurt Russell and\npartner Goldie Hawn bought a house in Ontario Canada.  The \ncouple bought a house in the Muskoka region in Ontario, Canada to be\nnear their son who played junior hockey in Canada. But the couple was forced to\ngive up their lakeside home when they woke up each morning seeing people from\nthe other side of the lake looking towards their direction. The couple felt\ntheir privacy were invaded by curious people.


    Kurt Russell is a\ncertified pilot. Kurt has found the love for flying and because of that he\nwent into flying school and subsequently applied for a pilot license. He is now\nFAA licensed Private Pilot holding single/multi- engine and instrument ratings.


    Kurt Russell had a\nnear serious accident while filming.  Kurt\nalmost caused an accident during the shooting of the movie, That Thing when\nwhen threw an ignited dynamite into the direction of the character of Palmer.\nHe thought it was not that strong, but turned out the explosion was huge and\nthey were lucky to escape without any serious injury.  


    Kurt Russell trained\nhow to use a gun under the renowned gun coach Thell Reed. Thell Reed is a\nfavorite gun coach that trained other Hollywood actors how to use guns like a\nreal Pistolero.
