U.S. snowboarding champion Louie Vito has begun writing a Dancing with the Stars blog for People.com. In the blog, the 22-year-old discusses his low self-esteem as a dancer, his perfectionism, and his relationship with pro dancer and partner Chelsie Hightower.

Snowboarder Louie Vito is a chill kinda guy. The U.S. snowboarding champion, who's expected to be headed to the next Winter Olympics, just showed up over the weekend to begin practicing for Season 9 of Dancing with the Stars.

The sixth week of Dancing with the Stars ended Tuesday with a double elimination of dancing couples, marking the swan songs of Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas, and Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower.
