ghinwah hachem on 05 Oct 08This article studies the effect of different factors on the academic performance of freshmen college students. It presents different studies performed on these students. The studies' results reflect the extent to which each factor affects students' GPAs. However, It shows that drinking is not a significant predictor of achievement. This research clearly provides shocking results, probably because it is limited to a small population of freshmen students enrolled at a private university.
