ENGL307: Digital Writing

This is a really simple, yet effective, example of how repeating layouts, fonts, and colors throughout a web page can be beneficial to organization and flow.

I think this is interesting coming from people who develop and release email software what they find appropriate and deem 'good' to do in a business related email setting.

This was my favorite website out of all the one that I came across. This list was very well put together and it is presented in a very professional manner.

The best tip given is to not use email to avoid personal contact. Face to face time with a person is valuable and most of the time allows for better communication understanding.

CHAPTER 6-REPETITION I liked this site because it showed examples of repetition using websites and I thought it was very fitting to look at for project 2

This site is awesome! It's dedicated to galvanizing design elements, trends, and problems in web design.  However, it not only makes the audience aware of the problems, it offers solutions on how to effectively fix design/elemental misuse issues.

Chapter 6, Repetition: An analysis of contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity with examples of each in the form of website design. This shows how they all work in harmony and how they impact the design element of a website.

This site includes a bunch of tips and strategies for building and improving upon a blog, specifically professional business blogs.

Ch 6- BoD Repetition This page provides written and visual examples of repetition to provide emphasis on borders, images and icons.

This site gives a handful of examples in repetition using examples of decoration, borders, & image/icon use.

Gives examples and ways on repetition. Like a mini lesson on it. 

This page gives 20 tips for proper netiquette that will remain useful for personal and business settings. Some of these include the common sense aspects such as starting an email with 'hello' and limiting or eliminating the use of all caps because that is viewed as yelling in internet terms.

Creative Commons This page reveals what Creative Commons is and provides support/examples of how digital, audio, written, etc. creations can be shared with the public and evolve them into something bigger.

Email Etiquette: This site provides a lot of information on email etiquette. This page specifically gives a run down of all of the basics when it comes to proper email use.

I like this website because it describes repetition in detail. I like the examples it has as well. Also, I like on the sidebar how you can go to other principles of design.

This has a few quick visual examples of good use of repetition or causing chaos in repetition.

This site has MANY examples of repetition.

Reflection on "New Media" Bb Article This article reflects on the ways in which an already "media driven" society is taking on new and improved forms of media communication. Some of the examples of new media communication include podcasts, vidcasts, and sms.

this site has lots of info; defines copyright and fair use, gives examples, and breaks them down.

She defines copyright and fair use laws. She says 35 years after an author open up their copyright they can retract it. Thats interesting!

CREATIVE COMMONS. This PDF tells, for those who are better absorbing information by reading it rather than seeing a cute video, more about what the creative commons is, who it's being done by, and how it can be applied to our lives.

middle ground of "some rights reserved" that respects intellectual property while expanding the acceptable uses of protected material.

I thought this was GENIUS. Great way to learn more about copy right to a catchy toon! Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I did! :)
