This page gives instructions on how to conduct a usability test of the instructions you have created. This will be useful for me when I do my project because I can see if my instructions really work before I submit my design for a grade.

This writing instructions video explains the prewrite, Draft, revision and refining process of writing instructions.

Purdue online writing lab give help on revising for conciseness and clarity. This is very important when I do my instructions because for my instructions to effective people must understand what I am say and quickly.

This is a great tutorial on all the four basic design principals. The creator has made remember the principals of design easy by calling it the C.R.A.P design principals. C.R.A.P standis for contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity.

I thought this video was neat! It was for some girls class. It talks about all the aspects of contrast that are also gone over in our reading.

Gives instructions on how to make a flyer that  gets attention! Very informational once again!!

This page will help me with Project #1 because it informs me on how to write instructions specifically on the web. It contains a lot of great information, including why knowing your audience is important, how to remain brief but be exact, how to select appropriate wording, and how to perfect the visual appeal of the instructions.

BoD Chapter 2: This page contains an outline of emphasis techniques to create visual hierarchy. It also includes links to more information on web design and links to templates for web publishing.

BoD Chapter 1: This page lists 21 formatting characteristics that are based on/ affected by your target audience. As chapter 1 states, deciding who your audience is and knowing about their demographics is one of the first steps in web design.

Ch 3 BOD- Contrast This site talks about contrast form a web designer's perspective. It breaks down contrast into elements of size, classification, color, cases,style and decoration, weight and space.

As much as I HATE wikihow this little page actually contained some great pointers on writing instructions.
