Not only can you add emphasis by doing something to the actual words but you can also work with the image. Change the size or color of the image are a couple things.

Adding subheadings, bullets, italics, font changes and color changes will add emphasis and make it easier for the reader to see easily what you are trying to bring across.

If what you create does not get a clear message to the  user you have just done decorations not a design.

Research plays a big role in te design process. Research who your audience is, research the market, research the company's goal and the purpose of the design.

Visual Hierarchy is presenting the information in the order of its importance.

Must understand that the goal is for it to be read. The headline of a copywriting design is important.

CHAPTER 6-REPETITION I liked this site because it showed examples of repetition using websites and I thought it was very fitting to look at for project 2

This site is awesome! It's dedicated to galvanizing design elements, trends, and problems in web design.  However, it not only makes the audience aware of the problems, it offers solutions on how to effectively fix design/elemental misuse issues.

NETIQUETTE This was a very informative site that talked about netiquette for many different online situations including emails:personal and professional

Covers all types of soical media, net education, cybersafety, ecommerce, email, digital video, and gaming. Each area has a list of rules and there are subsets to some areas such as cybersaftey. Easy to read which is good because there is a lot of information

Talks about the principles of gestalt and how it ties into psychology as well. 

Goes into a more depth idea of flow and how it takes more then "designing for delight".
