Derek Thomas' rhetoric of design post really goes in on the relationship of actual and imaginary line. Definitely opened my eyes to a differing perspective. Excellent post by him. 

I know I already shared one page but I thought that this was a good one as well. This blog post really talks about remediation and how it is used in the creation of new digital media as well as what remediation means to the lay person.

After having read the first two chapters of the Designed Fundamentals for New Media book and the other required readings, I feel I was better equipped in regards to being able to identify the different methods of communication present, and understand why the author of the article referred to Obama's rhetoric as "predictable."

WORDPRESS This website gives the top 5 wordpress video tutorials. I found it very informative and the videos ranged from getting started to password-protecting a post to adding a blogroll.

WORDPRESS This youtube video shows how to create and edit pages. I found this interesting because I have never utlized the pages option before only the posts

This blog post talks about what this particular person believes achieves "flow" in a website and the benefits of having a website that flows very nicely. He even provides an example of a website that he did in the blog.

great video on the basics on forum netiquette. One tip this video gives is to to not post when you are tired or have had a bad day.

This site gives information on the copy right law, I found this site to be helpful this week based on Chapter 21 reading as well as we already started on our first project and with editing pictures it is important that we comply to the copyright laws. I also made this my favorite as it is important for our project.

This video shows how to embed a video to Wordpress. It will be helpful if I ever want to upload a video to my blog. It is very simple instructions.

BoD Chapter 5: This site explains the definition, the history, and the benefits of proper alignment in web design. Furthermore, it provides step by step advice on how to achieve proper alignment and links to more sites for further information.

Must understand that the goal is for it to be read. The headline of a copywriting design is important.

I thought this was a very cute webpage about the do's and dont's about message boards. Very helpful though
