Copyright, Fair Use, and Creative Commons: A Youtube video assessing the impact of fair use and its cultural impact -- specifically, the impact of art upon other artists and how referencing and sometimes even imitating other works of art has helped shape art and culture as a whole. The video shows various examples of artworks that have used each other as references and is a good way to understand the importance behind this.

found some interesting things about music, such as as long as you don't stray to far from the orignal work song structures and their lyrics are not protected under the copyright laws.

She defines copyright and fair use laws. She says 35 years after an author open up their copyright they can retract it. Thats interesting!
