This appears to be a very good reference book regarding technical writing and the how to's of instructions. It gives detailed examples of how to integrate visuals and how to word your instructions in the active voice so everything is a command. Since I work at a software company and I technically write instructions & manuels for them, I found this site very accurate in describing what is needed in the field of technical writing. Due to its detail and many examples, I believe this is a good resource for Project 1 in providing a basis for instructions in the technical field.
