A new law in Alabama requiring officials to check the immigration status of students has left a lot of families scared to send their children to school. In Montgomery County, some 200 Hispanic students were absent and a few others had withdrew only a day after the law was put in place.

This article by Alan Caruba is very opinionated about his views on how the government is trying to comtrol the foor we decide we want to eat. He state that it is a scam from many diffrent sources. One is animal right advocates how just want people to stop eating pork, milk, beef and anyother product that comes from animals. Another is pharmaceutical companies that want people to invest in their products.

This article has 3 issues, the TSA, wikileaks and the drink Four Loko. First it talk about how american dont like the fact TSA is not fair with how they screen for bombs and such things but they want to be have a safe flight to go see reltives or a fun vactions. Then the government doesn't like that the website has taps on them when wikileaks reports on what they are doing but do not have a problem when it comes to tapping the americans phone calls. Lastly the state of New York banned the drink of Four Loko claiming that it is bad for americans but again wants to play big brother and tells us what is right or wrong. We as americans should decided what is good or not for our bodies.

The freedom to choose is one of the only real freedoms you have, and the most important freedom you have; you should not let other people, or the government, or the collective, choose for you, you should choose for yourself, you have the Right and Free-Will to [Self-Determination!]

I believe that smoking should be kept away from others.

The only way to isolate the situation I believe would be to make cigarette illegal. The government will never let that happen though because of the amount of money tobacco produces for them. Until that day, we will still continue to see people suffer and die from smoking.

This website pretty much goes straight to the heart about where and why the cost of tuition is 2-3% higher than inflation. The other good reason I didn't realize is that univerisites are striving to be the best so they will spend more money which we end up paying for.

If planned parenthood were to be defunded, it is predicted that the government would end up spending more in the long run on public assistance. Planned parenthood provides many services for women, one of them being birth control. Statistics in this article show that women who used birth control were easily able to finish school, find jobs, and create a steady life before having children. Defunding this organization would cost America more money in the bigger scheme of things.

The author believes planned parenthood is positive. It boosts the economy because those women have the chance to plan their pregnancies and prevent unwanted ones.
