The topic was brought up when a lady, Tang Hui, who was tossed into a "reeducating by labor" camp for advocating for her daughter, that was raped and sold into a prostitution ring. Tang Hui was just standing up for her daughter's rights by raising her voice when the accused were not given a just sentence for their crimes.
