    I try very hard to recycle as much as possible. This article reminded me to use my reusable water bottles instead of buying case after case of bottled water and also inspired me to buy the reusable grocery bags that I see so many people using. It makes me sick to read that there is a plastic garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean that is twice the surface area of the U.S. and hundreds of feet deep. We need to take care of the earth.

    This guy has some interesting ideas. Ending the war on drugs by legalizing drugs and taxing them for profit and allowing people to consume or not consume anything they choose seems a bit extreme. I do agree that a rebalance of taxes would benefit the hard working middle class families.

    Individuals should be able to consume as much soda as they want. I think that there should be more education about how drinking soda in excess can lead to obesity. Maybe warning labels on soda to remind people of the effects of drinking sugary beverages. I think it is then up to each individual to make the decision of how much soda they consume.
