In the past, if two occupants lived legally in the same house, it was required for an officer to have a warrant and permission from BOTH of the residents before being able to enter. Even if one person said yes and the other said no, the officer would not be able to enter. Now, if an officer has the, "ok" from at least one of the occupants, they can enter with just their approval.
