If planned parenthood were to be defunded, it is predicted that the government would end up spending more in the long run on public assistance. Planned parenthood provides many services for women, one of them being birth control. Statistics in this article show that women who used birth control were easily able to finish school, find jobs, and create a steady life before having children.
