The TSA believes that with the advancements of installing Document scanners so that security can be much more advanced at U.S. airports. These scanners are meant to ensure the safety of other passengers and do not allow fraud passports and documents to board the planes. TSA employees will use the machines to verify boarding passes and passenger identification such as drivers' licenses.

Rep. Rogers feels that the TSA is too big which is causing employee misconduct. He thinks that TSA management should hire employees with better qualifications and training to decrease the department's work force.

The writer dicusses her feelings toward the TSA and how she feels that they are out to strip travlers of their personal dignity. It is also suggested that since the TSA is an 11-year-old organization, that it should be old enough to be better at what it does.

As of last fall of 2012 the TSA is now engaging passengers in personal conversations as they are waiting in the security lines. This is being done to gauge behavioral assessments on persons in hopes that the TSA can meet certain threshold referral numbers.

TSA and their checkpoints how much do they help or harm. Is it right to be searched each and every time you want to travel or is it a breach in our rights?

Thomas Sawyer, a retired special education teacher on his way to a wedding in Orlando, Fla., was left humiliated at the airport, crying and covered with his own urine after an enhanced pat-down by TSA officers recently at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Sawyer recently survived from bladder cancer and was required to wear special devices called urostomy bag. The bag was picked up by the scanner machines where he was forced to take his pants off.

written 9/12/11; The TSA has gotten bogged down with the business of searching people and have forgotten what their real job which is Security. They have wasted money and resource and haven detected any real threat to american security in over 10 years.

This article has 3 issues, the TSA, wikileaks and the drink Four Loko. First it talk about how american dont like the fact TSA is not fair with how they screen for bombs and such things but they want to be have a safe flight to go see reltives or a fun vactions. Then the government doesn't like that the website has taps on them when wikileaks reports on what they are doing but do not have a problem when it comes to tapping the americans phone calls. Lastly the state of New York banned the drink of Four Loko claiming that it is bad for americans but again wants to play big brother and tells us what is right or wrong. We as americans should decided what is good or not for our bodies.

date 11/16/2010. editorial stating the writers views that only a small minority are complaining how the tsa conducts their searches without offering any constructive alternatives. The last paragraph of the editorial is important, the writer states " But before a vocal minority forces the issue, everyone needs to calm down and remember that the security-line indignities are a necessary byproduct of an era in which terrorists remain fixated on blowing jetliners out of the sky."

article dated 11/17/2010- editorial discussing how the TSA is violating human rights and not fully disclosing the hassards of the body scanners. A israeli airport security expert was quoted "I can overcome the Body scanners with enough explosives to bring down a Boeing 747."

When the body scanners were implemented and how some TSA agents were making inapprorate remarks towards persons being scanned.

It is broke. I think we should look at the way Israel handles their airport security.

I looked up how Israel handles with airport security & find this news article: http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/explainer/2011/01/whats_so_great_about_israeli_security.html Sadly, I was not aware of Israel's security. However, I relate to this a great deal since this past May & June I went to Afghanistan - and I was traveling with an Afghan citizen. I understand why they would be more cautious. Our coming back flight stopped in Dubai and we expected to have problems coming into the USA, but we also faced issues in Amsterdam. We were questioned a little longer than the other people - almost missed the flight because of it, twice - in Amsterdam & in the USA to coming to Phoenix. However, it did not bother us - we knew we would face issues. I don't even know how many times I was x-rayed - or how much time we spent talking to officials a little longer than everyone else and it happened everywhere we stopped, not only in the USA! I agree with these terms of not being so strict when leaving the USA, but coming back I could understand why the security was a little tighter.

This article is about a new technology for the ferderal side of fighting crime. A new x-ray machine will be operational at sky harbor Airport. I don't feel that it is invading my privacy and i would do go through it myself, but for allot of other people i see this an a big issue!
