Established in 1975, the NRA Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the 'lobbying' arm of the National Rifle Association of America. ILA is committed to preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S.

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina an order was given to confiscate all firearms from residence. This video, done by the NRA, shows a lack of Second Amendment acknowledgement. Law abiding people are wrongfully treated just for having firearms.

The passage is about how media can have a positive and negative impact with gun laws. Its mostly from commercial and their message they are trying to send to viewers . In complaining about bias, conservatives point to surveys indicating that most reporters are personally pro-gun control. But so are most Americans.

I feel a lot of deja vu reading this article.It's the same old song and dance and none of them have learned that as United States citizens, we like our guns; and we will not be separated from them. Criminals do not follow laws, more gun control is useless without reinforcing the statutes already in place.

This is a great site for information on both state and national firearms laws as well as what new legislation is out regarding both. 

In this article it argues that a more strict gun control will not reduce crime. The NRA (National Rifle Association) said that gun owners are sports enthusiasts and not criminals. This article also points out that since the 1960's the government have been debating on the issue of gun control but nothing has changed. Neither side (Democratic and Conservative) are listening to each other, they are counteracting and arguing but not listening to each others beliefs on this issue, which is a main reason why this debate has been going on for so long.
