This article looks at the gun control laws in other countries and the reasons why they developed those laws. President Obama tried getting semi-automatics and military style weapons banned and having a more strict background check was defeated in the senate in 2013. Since the mass shootings in 2015 Obama is trying to rekindle the bill.

Gun control in the United States - Springer - 1 views

  •
In this article it argues that a more strict gun control will not reduce crime. The NRA (National Rifle Association) said that gun owners are sports enthusiasts and not criminals. This article also points out that since the 1960's the government have been debating on the issue of gun control but nothing has changed. Neither side (Democratic and Conservative) are listening to each other, they are counteracting and arguing but not listening to each others beliefs on this issue, which is a main reason why this debate has been going on for so long.

In April, the Senate rejected the Toomey-Manchin gun control proposal. In the wake of its defeat many wonder why give this a chance to be passed. Trying to make every gun legal to buy wont be easy to do. Creating the right to purchase a firearm no short cuts. Make it difficult for people who do not have license to sell them on the streets.

When I read miserable, belligerently statist exercizes in punitive nationalism like this article (content warning: violent xenophobia, ill-informed conservative legalism, ethnic slurs all over comments threads) at a conservatarian website that calls itself the Personal Liberty Digest, I have to wonder what the words personal liberty mean to them, and what it is about ever [...]
