This site has a great selection of resources and journals pertaining to the history of rhetoric as well as its role today. I've opened a good majority of the sites & they look to be very helpful should you be interested in looking at the origins of rhetoric!

A review of the pathos, logos, and ethos lecture talked about in class. The video briefly looks at rhetoric in advertisement and how it uses the three concepts mentioned to accomplish its goal.

A quick and dirty look at Gorgias and his life/work.

Just a website to learn a little more about Gorgias and his work/life. This would probably be good to read before we read "Gorgias" or his other works. Also, this website looks like a good resource to have in general - peer-reviewed and an encyclopedia of philosophy.
