This is one of two stories published from the Mimas Learning & Teaching Project I'm working on- about use of real data services in learning and teaching to assist with employability and a range of literacy skills for undergrad and taught post-grad students.
I did the research and most of the writing of this story, but it was polished up admirably by the Web authoring team at Mimas.
This is the second story related to employability I researched and co-wrote with Mimas- this one's on the use of live census data in human geography at undergrad level. There will be more and fuller information about this coming later this year.
