Everything an AGPCNP needs to know about certification exams thru ANCC

Hello Everyone, Module 3 instruction asked us to explore articles about our transition from student to APRN. As we discussed in class and from guest panel, I realized that mentorship is really important. While I was looking through emory DiscoverE about mentorship, I came across this article that highlights how important it is to clarify the term "mentorship" when I am talking to my potential employer because it can mean different for the employer. The article really highlights how important it is to find a set definition for the term "mentorship". If the link does not work, I have the article downloaded, but I cannot seem to attach it here.

This is research article discussing if the "residency" programs that are starting to pop up for new grad APRNs are helpful. I found this interesting because we briefly discussed the residency positions during the new job panel.

This is a great systematic review that delves into state by state regulations on scope of practice for APRNs and how restrictive practice ultimately reduces access to healthcare particularly in rural populations. It was the only free article that I could find and provided ample information about the history of the specialty. Thanks Cheri for your initial post of this article earlier in the week, it was extremely helpful.
