    In summary, this journal article discusses the successes and challenges the Iowa Advanced Practice Task Force (APTF) faced in its goal to remove barriers to scope of practice for APRNs and why other states are following suit. The APTF has advocated for its profession through media outlets, board representation, presentations, and many other forms of communication and education to effectively bring about change in Iowa.
