  This article is a systemic review of the impact Nurse Practitioners have in an ER setting on the cost, quality of care, wait times, and satisfaction. Ultimately, the review was shown that more evidence needs to be conducted; however, it is said that nurse practitioners provide timely and effective care to patients during times of increased patient demand in the Emergency Rooms.
