    This article discusses some of the barriers that do not allow APRN's to practice without the supervision of a physician. It also discusses how physicians are not fully aware of the skills and education that APRN's have. There is also a portion that addresses the concerns of a state legislature regarding APRN's practicing without a physician supervisor.
