This is the website we used in Math120 to develop spacial sense.

This website is great when needed to reference anything dealing with Geometry or Trigonometry. It provides links to different properties of shapes, which is great for kids! The website also provides explanations and definitions when trying to find the area or perimeter of a geometric figure.

Scholastic.com offers lesson plan ideas for all subjects areas and grade levels K-12. I found 516 math lesson plans that cover standards such as probability, addition and subtraction, geometry, etc. The math lesson plans featured are thorough and even include objectives and links to worksheets to be used along with them. I found one interesting lesson plan where students had to estimate and practice deciding how much water could be put into a glass jar. Activities such as these allows students to be active in their math education! This is a great site for teachers to find lesson plans!

This mathematics forum website is a great resource for possible activity ideas to use with your students. The main page of this website includes six main link sections: numbers and operations, algebra, data analysis and probability, measurement, geometry, and other resources. Each of these subcategories has an array of possible topic areas and activities to go along with these areas. These activities are aligned with the NCTM standards and often include the use of manipulatives.

This is an interesting sight which was created by a gifted teacher's mathematics class. The students put together short video explanations of different math concepts, much like those which were are currently creating in class. These videos are interesting to watch, and they show the students line of thinking and reasoning behind different mathematic concepts. They can also provide insight as you think about how to explain these concepts to your students in a way that is relatable and understandable. The video topics include geometry, multiplication, decimals, divisions, and fractions amongst others.

This is a website that provides many different lesson plans for all subjects. You can get so many different ideas for your class and lessons. I used it specifically for Geometry and it gave some great lesson plans.
