My mother was visiting recently and all through our mother-daughter shopping time I discovered some thing interesting. Almost all of the stores I made a purchase at asked me if I'd like to get on the subscriber list. That is very intelligent.

However, the WAY where they did this made a positive change in my own response. I said NO to almost all of them since they only didn't make it attractive for me personally. After all, who WOULD LIKE more spam? So if you simply ask me if I'd want to be in your email list, the solution will usually be NO.

But one store in particular got me. To start with, it was a designer apparel store I loved. Second of all, they didn't ask me if I wished to be on their email list. They asked me to become 'VIP Client.'

Say what 'VIP' to me and my ears improve. It of course is short for 'crucial person.' And generally it implies a level of benefit and reputation. Suddenly I WANTED to become on that subscriber list, specially when the salesman explained to me it included specific benefits, such as for example early notice on a personal purchasing service, new arrivals, and private trunk shows.

And do you know what? I would have also paid to be part of that - to be regarded as a VIP.

You see, people DESIRE to be part of something special like ezine advertising. The example above was free. But don't underestimate how much your customers or customers will PAY to do that, often.

Example: A buddy of mine recently discussed he pays $15,000.00 per year to belong to the President's Club of a local playhouse, despite the fact that he and his wife might attend each show there for just $150.00. Dig up more on an affiliated wiki - Click here: porcharrow73's Profile | Armor Games. Why would even a loyal attendee need to pay 100 times more? Special treatment like favorite sitting, valet parking, invites to VIP capabilities, individual restaurant for members only, network using a higher-level of individuals, and so on.

Another friend of mine pays for membership at a private bar here in Los Angeles on Sunset Blvd. For all of the same reasons (but much more, I believe, since it impresses his days ; ).

My marketing mentor Dan Kennedy taught me there's a part of just ABOUT ANY customer or client group or market who will joyfully spend FAR above standard prices for specific treatment, position, and convenience.

I call it 'country clubbing' your business. Why be the driving range with an constant fee when you are able be the elegant six-figure membership team down the street? It is possible to offer both naturally, but look at what will skyrocket your business FASTER, with less deals and higher quality clients.

An example of that is my private Platinum Mastermind plan, that I launched in 2006 because of over-whelming need for my own instruction. This group of 15 significant small business people each pay $15,000.00 a year to possess greater access to me than anyone else, and in a small group environment where we meet 3 times a year at luxurious 4- and 5-star hotels and resorts.

My Platinums are, basically, VIPs in my own world! And since I maintain a bit of mystery in regards to the group, people appear to want 'in' a lot more. (One-of my people got cornered in the ladies room at my last On line Success Blueprint Workshop by several attendees who needed to know how they might get into Platinum!)

I share this not to impress you, but to impress upon you that in market (yes, *yours*) there IS a portion of folks who will gladly spend MORE - much more - for an increased level of service or treatment. Remember, you are maybe not trying to please EVERYBODY, just the select few who can afford that degree of service.

So now, have a minute or two and consider ways to start your personal 'country club' for the clients and customers. Whether it's a VIP amount of service or a private customer group that meets a few times a year.

To really get your wheels turning, imagine this.. When you can get 10 individuals to commit to some form of system that is just $10,000.00 a year, that is an additional $100,000.00 this year for YOU!.
